The film "Fordism" is made to mimic a machine, the colours artificial and easily reproduced. The film and sound are both 1minute long and will be played on repeat in symbiosis with one another. The idea was to make a fast passed compilation of collages based on Leek and other northern cities//towns. This film was made in collaboration with "non-artists" based in northern England, I asked them to film footage of where the industry within their town/city was and how this has changed. The result shows Manchester, Liverpool and Leek. The symbol of St Georges flag becomes a motif of hatred and political distain.
